PALAGIOCONTEMPORANEO 3rd International Edition
una semplice idea
S’insinuo’ un giorno l’ idea, nella luce opaca di un rigido inverno, nelle
austere sale del Palazzo del Podesta’, mentre i gessi-fantasmi di Libero
Andreotti urlanti memoria, danzavano. Dopo mesi di difficolta’,
nell’ Aprile del 2014, Palagiocontemporaneo, fusione tra passato e presente prese corpo, in virtu’ dell’ entusiasta partecipazione di importanti Artisti, che per aderenza alla visione, ognuno con il proprio mondo poetico, stimo profondamente e ringrazio.
Di nuovo nel 2016, alla Gipsoteca Libero Andreotti e nella Galleria Civico 8, la Terza Edizione, dopo una seconda, nel cuore di Monti, nella Roma più antica, per dire che forse, tra immaginifico e mirabile avventura, e’ possibile colmare la distanza.
Altre interessanti realta' della Valdinievole, si aggiungono come valore portante all’ evento: la Galleria Civico 8, da anni presente con innumerevoli mostre di Artisti moderni e contemporanei, che
ci ospita con opere di piccolo-medio formato; il Museo della Carta
di Pietrabuona che ci donera’ pregiata Carta Magnani, non piu’ in produzione. Esito del progetto, nei prossimi anni, nei locali restaurati della Ex- Cartiera, l’esposizione delle opere realizzate che, verranno donate al fondo d’ Arte Contemporanea del Museo; infine, pregevoli Bonsai conviveranno accanto ai lavori degli Artisti, grazie al
Museo del Bonsai di Ponte all’ Abate, fondato nel 1992.
Collezione di rari esemplari, iniziata negli anni ’70, nei numerosi viaggi in Cina e Giappone, da Costantino Franchi, lungimirante imprenditore, primo a creare bonsai di origine mediterranea, quali l’ulivo. Con stessa dedizione, la Franchi Bonsai-Vivai prosegue da anni, l’indirizzo paterno, e si prevede in futuro, nella sede del Museo, un nuovo evento a rinnovare la semplice idea, che nel celebrare la memoria, si puo’
creare nuova bellezza .

A simple idea
Crept one day an idea, in the dull light of a severe winter,
inside the austere halls of the Palagio del Podesta’ ,while
the plaster-ghosts of Libero Andreotti screaming memory, danced. After months of difficulties ,in April 2014, Palagiocontemporaneo, fusion of past and present, took shape, by virtue of enthusiastic participation of important Artists, and for their adherence to the vision, each with their own poetic world. I respect and thank them deeply.
Again in 2016, in the Gipsoteca Libero Andreotti and with the Civico 8 Gallery, the 3rd Edition, after a second, in the heart of Monti, in the most ancient district of Rome, to say, perhaps, between imaginative and wonderful adventure, it can bridge the gap .
Interesting realities of the Valdinievole in Toscany, are added as a fundamental value to the event: the Civico 8 Gallery, for years present with countless exhibitions of modern and contemporary Artists, who entertains us with small-medium size artworks;
the Museo della Carta of Pietrabuona who will donate us, precious Magnani papers, no more' in production. Outcome of the project, in the coming years, an exhibition, in the restored rooms of the Ex- Cartiera, and the works on papers, will be donated to the Contemporary Art Museum Fund;
Finally, beautiful Bonsai will be alongside the Artists’ artworks, thanks to Museo del Bonsai of Ponte all 'Abate, founded in 1992. Collection of rare specimens, which began in the 70s, in the numerous trips to China and Japan, by Costantino Franchi, visionary entrepreneur, first to create bonsai of Mediterranean origin, such as the olive tree. With the same dedication, Franchi Bonsai-Vivai continues for years, the paternal address, and is expected in the future, in the Museum, an event to renew the simple idea, in celebrating the memory, you can create new beauty.

alla Cultura ed il Turismo Barbara Vittiman, la collaborazione della Galleria
Civico 8 di Pescia si aprira', dall' 8 fino al 23 ottobre 2016,PALAGIOCONTEMPORANEO 3rd International Edition.Prima Edizione nel 2014, nelle sale della Gipsoteca Libero Andreotti, la seconda a Roma, in Studio Urbana, nel quartiere storico di Monti,oggi di nuovo a Pescia, al Palagio del Podesta' e nella Galleria Civico 8.
Un evento d’Arte Contemporanea che vede Artisti di grande interesse, conosciuti in ambito mondiale.
Il Museo della Carta di Pescia donerà agli Artisti di Palagiocontemporaneo, pregiata carta Magnani, non più in produzione.
Esito del progetto sarà l'esposizione, nei prossimi anni, nei locali restaurati
del Museo della Carta-Antica Cartiera, delle opere realizzate. Opere che verranno donate al Museo ed andranno ad incrementare il fondo di Arte Contemporanea.
Under the Patronage of the Town of Pescia, the kind assistance of the Councilor for Culture and Tourism, Barbara Vittiman, the collaboration of the Civico 8 Gallery of Pescia, it will open, from 8th until 23th October 2016, PALAGIOCONTEMPORANEO 3rd International Edition.
First Edition in 2014, in Gipsoteca Libero Andreotti, the Second in Rome, in Studio Urbana, in the historic district of Monti, today again in Pescia, in Palagio of Podesta’ and in the Civico 8 Gallery. An event of Contemporary Art where are involved many interesting and well known Artists, on the worldstage.
The Museo della Carta will donate to the Palagiocontemporaneo Artists, precious Magnani papers, no longer more in production. Outcome of this project will be an exhibition, next years, in the restored halls of the
Museo della Carta - Antica Cartiera.The Artworks on paper will be
donated to the Museum for increasing the Contemporary Art Fund
