Come uno schiaffo, s’insinuo’ il sogno, dentro la luce opaca
                                            di un rigido inverno, nelle austere sale del Palagio, mentre
                                            i gessi-fantasmi di Libero Andreotti urlanti memoria, intrisa
                                            del sangue di prigione, danzavano.

                                            Palagiocontemporaneo , fusione tra passato e presente,
                                            si realizzo’ finalmente, nell’  Aprile del 2014, in virtu’ della
                                            squisita collaborazione ed entusiasmo di Artisti, che stimo             
                                            profondamente e che ringrazio con gratitudine.

                                            Ognuno, nel proprio mondo poetico.
                                            Tutti, nella medesima visione di una semplice idea.

                                            Di nuovo al Palagio, oggi, la Terza Edizione,
                                            dopo una Seconda, nel cuore della Roma più antica,
                                            per dire che forse, tra immaginifico e mirabile avventura
                                            e’ possibile colmare la distanza.

PALAGIOCONTEMPORANEO

A Simple Idea
April 2014 ended, after months of difficulties, the 1st Edition of Palagiocontemporaneo at the Museum Palagio del Podesta' - Gipsoteca Libero Andreotti - Pescia Toscany - Italy .
A magnificient 13th century building, seat today of a rare collection of two hundred plaster casts, miracously saved after flood of Florence  ( 1966 ) of the Italian Sculptur (1875 - 1933 ) who, as Rodin, Sironi, Martini, was a protagonist of international avant-garde, and in the past , site of Podesta', prison, hospital, barrack, home of the Pilgrims of Via Francigena, school. refuge during World Wars.
Walking inside  this palace full of life, among these dancing white figures, Serenella Dodi, imagined a synergy between past and present and invited some Artists that for their high quality, as Sibylle Schwarz (Stuttgart), Lutz Heckelmann (Frankfurt), Kenryo Hara (Tokyo), John Crabtree ( London) just to mention a few... made this concept a reality.
Same intention for 2nd Edition in STUDIO URBANA, indipendent cultural space in Monti, in the heart of the historic Rome where other excellent Artists as Jaya Suberg from Berlin, Wolfgang Troschke, Anczy and Thomas Niessen... from Muenster, interact and draw a common fluid line far from stereotypes on which " artwork " for own nature. synonymous of freedom, become integral part of this simple idea.
Now , the 8 October 2016....again in the rooms of beautiful Palagio of Podesta' of Pescia the 3rd International Edition with 20 Artist from all over the world :
